Abstract/Summary:
The cold-formed steel reinforced high-strength concrete shear wall with steel plate is developed from cold-formed steel reinforced shear wall and steel plate shear wall, which combines the advantages of two types of shear wall. With superior ductility, massive energy consumption, great deformation ability and other characteristics, this kind of shear wall is appropriate for the high-rise architecture in high intensity region. Under the action of earthquake, the ductility of high-strength concrete shear wall which has low height is poor, and the low shear wall is prone to shear failure, exhibiting obvious brittleness. Hot rolled steel plate has superior mechanical properties. The properties of plastic, tenacity, yield strength, tensile property of the steel will be improved after heat treatment. Therefore, the hot rolled steel plate in high-strength concrete shear wall that has low height can improve the ductility of low shear wall and get better anti-seismic performance. The main research purpose of this paper is comparing and analyzing the anti-seismic performance of the low shear wall including the bearing capacity, failure characteristics, energy dissipation and ductility under low reversed cyclic loading. In the structure design of high-rise architecture in high intensity region, the ductility, deformation capacity and energy consumption of the shear wall were paid more attention. Author’s team has finished a series of low cycle repeated test of the cold-formed steel reinforced high-strength concrete shear wall with different concrete strength and axial compression ratio. It was proved that cold-formed steel and concealed bracing are able to improve the anti-seismic performance of shear wall effectively. Combining with the research results about the cold-formed steel reinforced high-strength concrete shear wall, this paper will study the anti-seismic performance of the cold-formed steel reinforced high-strength concrete shear wall with steel plate. The main work and achievements of this paper are as follows:(1) To research the different anti-seismic performance of four shear walls with different steel ratio and spacing, the author has designed two specimens whose steel spacing is 180 mm,with the steel ratio of 1.0% and 1.6%. Besides the author has designed another two specimens whose steel spacing is 330 mm, with the steel ratio of 1.0% and 1.6%.(2) The author get the hysteresis curve and skeleton curve, cracking load, ultimate load, ultimate displacement, energy dissipation etc of four specimens by low cycle repeated test.Three main conclusions are drawn : 1) Increasing the steel ratio can improve the damage type, ductility and energy dissipation of the low shear wall, but it has little effect on the limit horizontal bearing capacity. 2)Increasing steel plate spacing will reduce the decline rate of late bearing capacity of low shear wall, but it has little effect on the limit horizontal bearing capacity. 3) The steel plate can restrain the widening and extension of inclined cracks effectively.(3) According to the codes, the shear capacity of the diagonal section of four specimens is calculated respectively. The calculated values are compared with measured values. Combined with the failure form, the author has suggested the applicable scope of the calculation formula, which is used to calculate the shear capacity of the diagonal section of concrete shear wall with steel plate.
