The Research Of Natural Gas(LNG) Series Heavy-duty Truck Assembly Process

The rapid development of automobile industry improves human beings’ living levels, but the NOXand particles in its emission has become the main pollution source of urban air. As a clean energy natural gas is considered to be an effective alternative to gasoline and diesel. Liquid natural gas(LNG) heavy-duty trucks get a growing favour in the market.This paper based on the developing strategy of a heavy-duty truck company, and the company’s project aims to improve its LNG heavy-duty trucks’ assembly skill, I designed the technology process of LNG trucks, and find an efficient way to assemble LNG trucks and diesel trucks on one assembly line, optimizing the company’s producing ability.The initial assembly technology is analysed, which considered the LNG heavy-duty trucks’ structure,assembly technology, its difference with diesel trucks and producing safety, finely designed a map of assembly technology of LNG trucks. In this paper the technology is also optimized to assembly gas bottles, and the working balance ratio was improved to 37.2%, the new technology can also regulate the product quality. A process is established to manage the assembly, which including workers’ management, producing management and process regulation. This process can reduce the producing takt from 21.5min to 6.5min. I put the technology of assembly LNG trucks and diesel trucks on one assembly line into act and proved that this technology works perfectly. So this technology can help company to reach its target, improved the productivity, strengthen its competitiveness.
