| In today’s domestic auto markets, as one of the pillar industry of national economy, automobile industry still has much more room to grow.Automobile electronic connectors, the important part of car parts, still have great market demands. Embedding terminals in mold and injection molding is one way of the main production of auto electronic connectors,Most domestic factories adopt manual operations, but efficiency, output and quality are hard to keep up with the needs of the domestic automobile industry development. While the insertion technology is very popular in advanced foreign countries, such as Germany and Japan, it is hold by only few famous foreign companies, such as DELPHI, MAGNA, and strictly protected against China market. With the employment difficulties and rising labor costs, developing the technology of contactors insertion has great market potential.The topic of thesis to design a type of gripper that can be fixed on a6-axis robot and clamp automatically and accurately. The main contributions are as follows:1. Analyze the production process, and design a reasonable process of robot and peripheral devices.2. Complete the layout design and the overall design of each division station with software Inventor.3. Gripper design, the key component in the equipment. With aid of the software Inventor, the research work is started from 3D model designof gripper and other components, and then assemble together virtually,finally obtain the kinematics parameters of related parts and components.4. Using finite element analysis software ANSYS to analyze the key parts and components, receive related parameters of statics analysis, and get their stress-strain parameters, then optimize the design, determine the reasonable clamping force and the shape and size of gripper fingers,realize the most compact space structure and the lowest cost.Through the above research work, establish a complete set of 3D digital model of the equipment, including gripper and robot, and verify the positioning precision of gripper’s clamping and deforming. Finally actual production proves that the desired effect has been achieved and the design is of a great success. |
