This Study Focused On The Design And Applications Of The Accessories In "Northeastern Taste" Dining Space

Recently, theme restaurants has been emerging endlessly. These restaurants not only provide a delight for customers’ taste buds, but also a visual fast. Meanwhile, there are competitions in food and drinks between different restaurants, and there are fightings to satisfy customers’ s feeling physically and emotionally. The demand of material culture is growing gradually, thus makes the enterprise operators change their focus from food taste to dining environment. On the perspective of theme restaurants, ornaments are the significant stander to decide the dining environment success or not. Northwestern- taste themed restaurant not only a place for dining, but also a room to give the customer a comfortable experience.This study focused on the design and applications of the accessories in "Northeastern Taste" dining space. First we got the basic overview of the project, and set up the design style of the custom in northeastern area predominantly. And we explored the uniqueness and difference of this project through the comparison with similar style dining space. Secondly, we analyzed the cultural background information of Northeastern China, and extracted the key elements of the space from both the nature and humanities views and discussed the use of elements in space. At last we summarized the problems encountered and the solutions accordingly through the participation in the "Northeastern Taste" accessories design project.
