The Application And Research Of Islamic Architecture Decoration Features In The Dining Space Under Art Semiotics

Nowadays this world is changing rapidly and becoming more complex and diverse, the Silk Road economic belt and the 21st-century Maritime Silk Road has drawn wide attention around world. Based on this circumstance, China and the Islamic world will be involved in a long term relationship in the Belt and Road Initiative.The word, Islam, is not only referring to a simple religion, but also considered as a combination of lifestyle, social system and cultural ideology. Islamic culture is a great civilization with long history and abundant cultural achievement. A unique Islamic art and culture had been developed in its long history; furthermore, the Multi-ethnic cultural integration also played a remarkable role in the evolution of Islamic culture. Islamic architecture as an important achievement is well known for its distinctive artistic charm. Semiology is an important method in the recognition and communication of information. Hence, it is crucial to introduce semiotics methods in the study of Islamic architecture. These semiotics methods will allow people to observe, study, use and even create Islamic architecture from a whole new perspective.In this article, starting from the research and analysis in Islamic architecture based on theory and method of art semiology, several achievements which can be applied in interior design of modern food industry have been concluded. On the one hand, in theoretical perspective, there are two main topics. First, through the elementary research achievements in art semiology of Islamic architecture, a relatively complete outline of theoretical research has been concluded. Second, from the abstraction in symbolic of Islamic decorative arts, a valid information exchange pattern of Islamic decorative arts has been developed.Furthermore, compared to past, the recognition in artistic characters of Islamic decorative art is clearer. On the other hand, in application perspective, staring from a detailed conclusion in Islamic decorative art, simultaneously, the analysis and abstraction of artistic symbols has also been discussed. Based on methods of semiology, the specific techniques and application in Islamic architecture and decorative art have been specified and discussed, which allowed applying symbolic characters to represent Islamic decorative art appropriately in modern interior design.
