Hybrid journal bearings, a superior than hydrostatic bearing and hydrodynamic bearing at low and high speeds, have been more and more applied in the actual engineering practice. Therefore, studies on hybrid bearings is the key research direction of the rotor-supportfoundation system. At this stage, the research of hybrid bearing always focus on the impact of conventional parameter, oil supply pressure and spindle speed, on the hybrid bearing’s load-carrying properties, but do not take into account the impact of carrying capacity change on hybrid bearing. Therefore, this paper make bearing’s eccentricity as a start point for researching, explore the impact of different eccentricity to hybrid bearing’s flow-solid features on ANSYS Workbench software platforms and design hybrid bearing testbed for validation the theoretical results in the late. This essay consists of three parts:First, the research status domestic and overseas about hybrid bearing have been review, including status hybrid bearing commonly used form of structure and the impact of condition parameters to hybrid bearing’s performance, and study the analysis method of hybrid bearing fluid-structure interaction. Introduces the basic theoretical knowledge of fluid mechanics and fluid equations, overview the fluid equation’s boundary conditions and simplify process in practical application. Using finite difference method for solving the numerical solution of hole-entry hybrid journal bearing’s film properties, use this numerical solution as for the standard to validation whether the modeling of hybrid bearing under different eccentricity is correct.Secondly, using FLUENT analysis the oil film features of hybrid bearing under different eccentricity and get the relationship between film characteristics and eccentricity, including the size and direction of carrying capacity. After verifying the analysis results are correct, load the analysis result onto the established model of hybrid bearing and research the situation of bush stress and strain. After analysis, found that with increasing eccentricity, a part regional of hybrid bearing bush’s stress and strain become large and the stress concentration has been happened.Finally, design and construction hybrid bearing testbed with modeling parameters, including hybrid bearing design, shaft design, measurement system design and radial loading system design, which can adjust the spindle speed, oil pressure, oil temperature and radial loads, also this testbed can measure the hybrid bearing’s oil film pressure, oil temperature and the displacement of the spindle to research the impact of different parameters to hybrid bearing’ fluid-solid features, in order to verify the applicability of theoretical analysis results.
