It is necessary to train fire fighters effectively so that the fire fighters are able to get the accident location in the shortest time and to settle the emergency efficiently in case of airplane accidents catching fire. The airport crash fire vehicle training simulator uses real-time simulation, generates virtual scene, sound and control loading and provides training environment of high quality for the fire fighters. In the airport crash fire vehicle training simulator, airport crash fire vehicle dynamics model provides essential vehicle state parameters for scene system, sound system and control loading system. The dynamics model determines the training environment and training performance.At present, the study of vehicle dynamics was well-developed. But most were aiming at passenger cars and study of airport crash fire vehicle dynamics was not reported. In this paper, airport crash fire vehicle was studied and according to its structure and function, it was divided into two parts: vehicle system and fire control system.Object oriented modeling was introduced and five objects in the vehicle system and two objects in the fire control system are defined based on this theory. The attributes and operations of these objects were analyzed and the mathematical model of every part was created. Using Simulink, program of airport crash fire vehicle dynamics model was established. In special conditions, simulation of Striker 3000 airport crash fire vehicle was carried on. The simulation results were basically in agreement with the corresponding items of data offered by the manufacturer and that indicated that the dynamics model was reasonable.Class library was designed and a simulation platform was built using Visual C++ 6.0. At last, simulation was implemented on the platform. The interplay between vehicle system and fire control system was analyzed according to the simulation results. It was proved that the airport crash fire vehicle simulation platform met the need of real-time.
