Suppliment Of Public Service Facilities Of Affordable Settlements In Nanjing

With the reform of the housing system and the rapid development of big cities, the house price rises too high for the lower-middle class to afford, they have to migrate into the affordable settlements in the edge of the city, resulting in the lack of public service facilities, which gradually causes strong concern by the government, academia as well as the general populationThis paper takes the affordable settlements of Nanjing as the research object and focuses on urban facilities which is more prominent. Based on the progressive ideas of "single factor-multi-factor" and "grading-classifing-overall", the paper uses multi-factor quantification to calculate the current supply of facilities, mines the supply characteristics, summarizes the causes and proposes improvement strategies.The paper consists of four parts:The first part is basic research:expounding research background and theory literatures, clearing the purpose, meaning, content and methods.The second part is the background sortting:First, defining the concept of affordable settlements and public services facilities; then, sorting out the construction situation of the affordable settlements in Nanjing, including the construction process, and the overall layout and the main problems; and finally, expounding the supply situation of public service facilities in Nanjing briefly.The third part is empirical research:First, determining the types of facility and settlements studied in research on the basis of the above, and expounding the social attributes of the residents in affordable settlements briefly; secondly, designing the facility evaluation methods, namely using "the largest travel loop layer " to confirm evaluation objects, using different factors to estimate the number, size, distribution of the facilities, and then obtain overall supply level by means of Analytic Hierarchy Process; and finally, using cross-parallel manner of " grade-classification-overall "and" single factor--multi-factor " to assess the level of supply, and then summarizing the supply characteristics.The fourth part is problems and countermeasures:Based on the foregoing analysis, summaring the main problems and causes of the supply of facilities,and finally exploring a comprehensive strategy to improve the supply of public service facilities in affordable settlements.
