More and more nuclear facilities beginning to enter the retirement period, the process of decommissioning nuclear facilities need nuclear facilities internal drawings. In order to use the advanced virtual reality technology for visual management, first you need to get 3 d model of nuclear facilities. And at present most of the nuclear facilities engineering data already lost or almost no 3 d data. at the same time nuclear facilities in the internal situation is dangerous and complex, artificial difficult to enter. especially the underground equipment room of decommissioning nuclear facilities, as it is very small and straight down, humans and machines are difficult to enter, unable to get inside the nuclear facilities information, also won't be able to formulate reasonable retirement scheme, the difficulty of the decommissioning nuclear facilities has greatly increased.According to the above problem, this paper puts forward to the increasingly mature 3 d reconstruction technology is introduced, by building a refactoring scanning platform with 3 d laser scanner to achieve 3 d reconstruction of the interior facilities underground equipment room.3 d reconstruction scanning platform set up first in the upper part of the equipment room, and then on the remote control platform device will scanner to scan in the underground equipment room for the complete point cloud data, and then obtain the 3 d model of underground equipment room. At home in the process of decommissioning nuclear facilities and lack of 3 d reconstruction research in this field, this plan for the retirement of nuclear facilities, provides a new train of thought and has great popularization value.This paper mainly studied the following aspects: 1. 3 d reconstruction principle and 3 d laser scanning technology 2.
