With the development of the technique in information and wireless communication in recent years,the applications of wireless sensor network in agriculture,industry,transportation and other fields have attracted the growing attention.In this paper,from the perspective of intelligent transportation,we put forward the combination of wireless sensor network technology with the Internet technology to the system of the tunnel environment detection can be applied.Firstly,the paper presents the background and the overview of related studies at home and abroad.Then,the wireless sensor network development direction is analyzed,and some related technologies are discussed.Based on the discussion of the key technology of existing wireless sensor network,we propose a monitoring system based on WSN technology and GPRS under the system of the tunnel environment.To be specific,several factors like the tunnel temperature,dampness and the density of CO need to be collected.An improved routing algorithm LEACH-D(LEACH-Distance)is presented on the basis of the geographical features of the tunnel.At first,the improved LEACH-D scheme can transmit the information retrieved to the gateway node.Next,the GPRS will forward the related information to the administration center.Considering the disadvantages of the poorly distributed clusters,randomly generated clusters and the highly related and redundant information,we propose the improved LEACH-D take the number and the distribution of the clusters in the initial stage of the cluster selection.In addition,in the step of clusters formation,the character of whole nodes is decided by the routing attribute tables and the density.Furthermore,the LEACH-D scheme makes full use of the characteristics of long and narrow tunnel,and improves the routing strategy of cluster head.Simulation results show that the proved algorithm balances the system energy consumption effectively,and prolongs the lifetime of networks compared with LEACH.In comparison to the traditional detection methods,the realization of the real-time online monitoring enables managers to take some measures to reduce the odds of the traffic accident in the tunnel and actively deal with all types of emergencies.Meanwhile,it renders information-based support to the intelligent transportation by the tunnel information published via the Internet and the mobile web.Finally,from the perspective of the security of information,a proposed transmission scheme based on physical layer security have been used in information transmission between the information collection and sink nodes.Compared with the round-robin scheduling strategy,the proposed scheduling strategy in this paper effectively reduces the outage probability of security,and improves the security of information transmission.
