At present,our country has made some achievements on the research of water saving landscape,But most of them concentrate in design principles and methods of water-saving,there are few mature evaluation criteria.The research of water-saving landscape guide the practitioners more in the level of consciousness,and they areinsufficientto give guidance in practicallevel.Therefore,the research on water-saving landscape evaluation systemcan control the water-saving benefit in the stage of landscape planning and design,it is conducive to the promotion of water-saving landscape construction and popularization.Combined with domestic and foreign water-savinglandscape theoretical research and practical cases.This paper summarizes five main aspectswhich influencing the water-saving benefitsand refine them as some specific indicators;Four representative parks(Diecai Park,Shanggangyang Park,Tianhe park,Qilihe Park)in Zhengzhou city have been selected as the research object,They can provide a reference for the evaluation and practice of water saving benefit.The paper obtains the research results as follow:(1)Choosing 5 indexes(plant configuration structure,hard pavement,landscape water,rainwater utilization,maintenance management)to set up the index system of evaluation to four parks water-saving benefit,it includes 5 indexes,19 evaluation factors.(2)Theindexes related to the above water saving benefit evaluation system of four parks have been Systematic research,andthe water saving efficiency of the four parks was evaluated by the method of comprehensive evaluation.Thecomprehensive evaluation values of water saving benefit of Diecai Park,Shanggangyang Park,Tianhe park,Qilihe Park were1.4600,0.6080,1.2622,0.6698.(3)Through variation coefficient method,we got the weight of index ofplant configuration structure,hard pavement,landscape water,rainwater utilization,maintenance managementwere 0.1393,0.4056,0.1239,0.1605,0.1707.The results show that the hard pavement is the most important factor in the evaluation of water saving benefit of four parks,and the second is the maintenance and management,rainwater utilization,Green space structure,landscape water.Through the analysis of the weight value of each evaluation factor that affecting the water saving benefits,It draws the conclusion that pavement area size,permeable and impermeable pavement area ratio,sources of irrigation water,other maintenance management measures,Tree-shrub-grass complex layer plant communities were important contents to improve the park greenbelt water-saving benefit.(4)Through comprehensive evaluation of water-saving benefits of four parks,we can known the contribution of various factors to the water saving benefits of the parks,it Provides directional guidance for the improvement of water saving benefits.At the same time,it can also be used in the stage of landscape planning and design,For example,the evaluation system can help to choose the optimal water-saving scheme,and it is conducive to the practice of guiding the construction of water-saving landscape.
