| In prefabricated buildings, prefabricated unit were connected by the grouting sleeve for rebars splicing to form a whole, to resist a variety of adverse external loads. Because prefabricated beams and columns were manufactured in a factory, and its quality was good, however, the joint of each component was weak, which would form a unfavorable structure of strong beam and column-weak nodes. The node destruction was the main way in prefabricated buildings in the earthquake damaged. Thus, in prefabricated buildings, the grouting sleeve for rebars splicing played a decisive role!With the funds support of National Natural Science Foundation of China(Grant No.51278312), The mechanical behavior of the grouting sleeve for rebars splicing members under cyclic loading was analyzed in this paper by ABAQUS finite element software. Objective was to study the mechanical properties and the stress distribution of the reinforced joints and lay a solid theoretical foundation for the application and promotion of this joint. According to the technical specification for mechanical splicing of steel reinforcing bars JGJ107-2010’s loading system. Numerical simulations included uniaxial tension and large deformation and high stress of the repeating of tension and compression in elastic and plastic range. The simulation results showed that:(1) The performance of the connecting member of the steel sleeve was able to meet the requirements of the specification and also meet the requirements of the project.(2) In the process of cyclic loading, the mortor material between the reinforcing bar and the sleeve rib forms a plurality of diagonal compression zones, which were the main way of load transfer between the reinforcement and the sleeve. In addition to individual points of the internal stress is slightly high, the overall force is good.(3) Through the numerical simulation analysis of the different thickness of the sleeve connecting members, when the sleeve thickness was 3mm, the maximum max principal stress was 480.4MPa, and the tensile strength of the 550 MPa was not reached. It not only have a certain safety margin, but also economical and reasonable.(4) Through the numerical simulation analysis of the different length of the sleeve connecting members, Be relative to the sleeve member of 200 mm length, while the sleeve length was 170 mm, the sleeve connecting component can reduce the cost with the basic guarantee function. And the 110 mm and 140 mm length of the sleeve member can not meet the requirements of the specification. |
