Research For Decoration Redesign Of Storefront Along Shenyang Street

The storefront is a comprehensive carrier which conveys information, displays commodities,attracts consumers is the storefront,displays the culture and shop commodity style.As the centre of economy, culture and business of three Northeastern Provinces of China,the business of Shenyang stands for the standard of economy development,so storefront decoration along Shenyang street carry on the task of display standard of business.Trough the survey and analysis of status in storefront of Shenyang,The paper based on the storefront decoration status and survey,centered on humanity,the analyzed of the system of the relevant elements,summarized the methods of storefront decoration design,and decoration design the example according to the conclusion.Hope to offer the reliable data,theory base and reference for storefront design.This paper is divided into five parts. The first chapter focused on the theoretical review and analysis of storefront, including their history, elements, and functions. In the second chapter, a field research had been made to analyze the ornament of storefront decoration in Shenyang; thus to put forward a reasonable solution or improvement opinion. Through documentation, the third and fourth chapter listed specific measures and regulation to illustrate facts which could affect the ornament of these storefront decoration, like proportion, the relationship between man and machine, climate and attentions, and also through analyzing the transfer of facade information to ensure its accuracy,quickness and simplicity. The fifth chapter starts from the purpose of the security evacuation of commercial block, putting forward a special requirement about the safe access and its facade materials. Finally I applied the conclusion to "XiKang Cloud" health experience store. According to theories such as the statistics, consumer psychology, ergonomics,materials science, visual communication, commercial blocks and storefront design specifications,and based on practical investigation and thinking, combined with literature, questionnaire survey,data collection, data analysis measurement, methods of theoretical research, I summed up the application methods of relevant facades ornament factors of storefront decoration along Shenyang street and the design methods which consumer attention is centered.Conclusions should be drawn that the shop facade decoration should comply to the policy,follow relevant regulations and build up good human-computer interactions; Focus on the accuracy of information passing and the inheritance of the historical culture in the aspects of color; Match up the layering style of the surrounding buildings when considering the use of size ratio, with following the same style of the building. Facade should feature in the same direction of the product. Choice of materials shall ensure pedestrians safety and should refer to the message that the texture of the chosen material provides. For considerations for facade design factors, by using proportional designs shall enhance the overall effect. Pointing out how the material deal with climate factors. Provide recommendation to shops of their sign settings recommendation to shops of their sign settings and content layouts. By statistical analysis the result indicates that the recommendation of layering of the facade, by strong to weak, in terms of attracting attentions, are display windows, use of color, design of signs, use of lights, graphics,materials texture; for passing messages by the use of color, it should be based on the rules ofcolor, which it also points out the limitations of the color rule when designing facades. Message passing from the texture of material mainly is based on the characteristics of the material itself,graphical message should mainly based on people-oriented graphics. In terms of evacuation safety, concludes that for Shenyang commercial pedestrian street, there is a need to clear the evacuation path, adding more evacuation signages and adding more evacuation paths etc. and to enhance the material used for facade which is located near the evacuation path, by choosing fire-proof, durable material, and actively carry out fire and smoke protections for shops.
