Railway transport plays more and more role in the people’s life with the rapid development of economy, especially, the EMU is high favorable among people because it is fast, convenient and comfortable. Thus, it is necessary to enhance the EMU drivers `skills, which is very important measure to ensure the traffic safety. So it is very necessary to develop a set of safe and efficient motor vehicle simulation driving system for EMU drivers, which will reduce the pressure on the railway sector. This paper is basic on the CHR2 EMU driving operation process to design a set of pure software for simulating the driving system using ARCNET token network technology and Visual Baisc.NET Visual software. This research has certain reference significance in the development of driving simulation system for the follow-up of EMU.First of all, based on the analysis of domestic and international train simulation driving system on the current situation, this paper introduces the working mechanism and characteristics of the ARCNET token network technology;Study the data frame format and working principle to the ARCNET token network technology and data transmission process etc and masters the networking mode of ARCNET network technology, communication principle and the realization method of network data transmission.In the second place, on the basis of mastering the ARCNET token network technology, combined with the process of the operation of the CRH2 EMU and the mechanism of its network control, the structure and scheme of the EMU driving simulation network control system are designed. In addition, the work principle, service type and method of Socket based on Windows are introduced in detail, and the data interface design is carried out using Socket technology to read the data information of network transmission.Then, the VB.NET software is used to design the simulation operation system of the equipment. The system mainly contains some modules, such as the simulation interface of the central device, terminal device, monitoring device LKJ-2000 and automatic train protection system ATP; introduces five models with Socket, overlapping I/O model selection Windows Socket; realizes the data interface of ARCNET network. At the same time, the training and management process database is developed using the Access database technology.Finally, using computer IPC, ARCNET card and other hardware hub test the network control system of EMU driving simulation. The result shows that ARCNET token bus technology can be used for EMU driving simulation system for data transmission and system interface can simulate EMU operation process. Meanwhile, the thesis analyzes major component and signal type collected, and selects the data acquisition module. In brief this paper has certain reference significance for subsequent development of EMU driving simulation system.
