The purpose of this paper is to solve the problem of the high rate of short circuit fault in the actual production, to provide users with good quality and stable operation. This paper mainly studies the short-circuit current and short circuit power and its failure mode,summarizes the failure mode caused by short circuit, and studies the causes of the transformer winding instability, and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures.This paper set transformer serious short circuit, according to the short circuit occurs after power loss and the transformer internal damage, out of transformer under the special condition of short circuit, winding by the damage is not stable, through the fault state analysis to find out the influence of variable pressure anti short circuit ability. In line with the strengthening of the transformer winding short-circuit strength, reduce or avoid the transformer short-circuit accident damage to the purpose of the transformer short-circuit resistance performance, the reasonable improvement scheme is given. The three-phase short circuit current and the winding flux distribution are analyzed, and the leakage flux is considered as an important reason for the short circuit electric power generation. The influence of the short circuit of the transformer on the electric power of the axial short circuit and the short circuit is discussed, and the short circuit electric power is a dynamic variable. Transformer short circuit conditions caused by the fault model, we think manufacturing process improvement and short circuit stability check is an effective way to improve the performance of anti short circuit of transformer.Proposed the specific improvement scheme and the winding short circuit stability check method and carries on the verification.The scheme proposed in this paper has been applied to the design and production of transformer, which can effectively improve the short circuit stability of the product.
