Fume gas desulfurization devices of 2×220t/h pulverized coal boiler in Sinopec Luoyang branch, with wet double alkaline desulfurization process, have lots of operational problems Aiming at this situation, the existing improvement measures only extends the running time,but not eliminate the problems. With the increasingly strict environmental protection national requirements, GB13223-2011 sets higher flue gas emission standards. However, the fume gas desulfurization devices have to be transformed for long standard running period and accidents elimination.With deep analysis and research on the merits and demerits of various desulfurized renovation methods, combined with the actual running of flue gas desulfurization system of these two boilers in Sinopec Luoyang branch, a transformed method is finally chose and carried out with an EDV single alkaline wash process desulfurization technology.With the operation of new desulfurization system, aimed at the problem such as the high power consumption, the high running cost of the salt water and ionic membrane, the system are analyzed and improved and the performance of its device achieved the expected goals.With the EDV desulfurization technology, Sinopec Luoyang branch unit these two boilers gets significant social benefit, environmental benefit and economic benefit.
