At present, China State Grid Corp of the substation has been implemented no one on duty, smart substation is also being implemented. With the popularity of the unattended substation remote viewing function, making a large number of inspection tasks can be completed by remote control. But the traditional substation lighting system is still widespread use of mechanical switch to control the lighting equipment, do not have local remote control and remote monitoring function. When the distribution room light is insufficient, it can't complete the inspection task of the distance. Therefore, a scientific, reasonable and efficient method is urgently needed to ensure the management and control of the lighting equipment in the remote substation.The management and control of lighting equipment in unattended substation, the existing traditional lighting systems are comprehensive investigated, based on the proposed scheme of substation remote monitoring intelligent lighting a reliable, stable and economical unattended, the main function, structure principle and realization method of the software and hardware of the project are introduced.First for substation management demand for lighting and lighting characteristics of the three kinds of intelligent lighting control scheme, namely: gateway software monitoring mode, host software monitoring mode and monitoring client mode and of the three schemes are compared from realize the difficulty degree, cost and safety point of view selection monitoring client mode implementation of lighting equipment centralized management.Design of an intelligent lighting controller, through the integration of the hardware and software design, the manual control, near handheld remote control and local control computer and the remote computer control coordinate, with Ethernet, realize remote intelligent monitoring of lighting equipment.Through the research of the intelligent lighting controller and complete the design of the intelligent lighting monitoring system, it is convenient for the modular installation and scale expansion of the system. Preparation of communication protocol, the development of lighting monitoring software, including the local server software, remote client software and mobile client software.Finally completed an unattended substation remote intelligent lighting control demonstration project, the verification test and field. The system has certain intelligence, versatility, than traditional lighting system more simple, quick and effective. After the system has been put into operation, the system is stable, safe and reliable, and has high application and popularization value.
