In recent years,with the rapid development of China's hinterland economy and along river industrial,the demand for inland shipping upgrade is increasingly urgent.At present,Shipping uparade mainly employ the combination of cascade channelized and channel regulation in domestic and overseas,including the new high-grade locks as the main construction content.The distance of new lock' brake sites and have been built lock is generally close,and construction by way of a temporary support of excavation pit.Not only the foundation pit excavation of neighboring lock have general characteristics of excavation,,but also has its own distinctive features.This article focused on the particularity of excavation works near the lock and the current status of the relative lack of relevant research results,Using research tools is the combined of geotechnical model tests and numerical simulation,Combined with the common type of soldier pile retaining,for the combined support of slopes and row-piles(referred slope-pile retaining)which compliance the characteristic excavation of the neighboring Balance Weight lock structure,and carried out research its excavation process support protection effect,working mechanism and the corresponding factors.The main findings and conclusions are as follows:(1)When the excavation is completed,supporting and nearly lock at the top of the horizontal displacement values slope-piles retaining is less than soldier-pile retaining,showed when with the local grading space,the neighboring lock structure the effect of excavation during slope-pile retaining is better than during soldier-pile retaining.(2)The types of slope-pile retaining is based on the characteristics of the adjacent lock excavation,and combined with the advantages of slope excavation and pile support which is the joint support,in which the local grading excavation can be reduced free height of the supporting structure,and enhance it's the strength of embedded solid,and the vertical excavation plus row piles can slove the problem of the distance between the pit and the nearby lock is shortage.(3)With the grading origin away from the top lock is increasing in the first step excavation,the lock structure's magnitude of the tilt to the front wall also increases,and with increasing distance,the impact of the effect is waning;with grading slope gradually slowing down,lock structure's magnitude of the tilt to the front wall were small.(4)With grading slope gradually slowing down in the third step excavation,supporting structure and lock structure by tilting the pit(or rear wall)is turning into tilting pit outside(or front wall).(5)When the lock is in the different operating conditions,with an increase in the water level inside the lock,the greater the support structure and the gate to the pit wall structure(or rear wall)tilt magnitude,indicating that the higher the level of the internal lock Excavation the security and stability of the more unfavorable.
