This paper introduces the commonly used at home and abroad of the traffic noise prediction model, focuses on the widely used in environmental impact assessment of highway noise prediction of FHWA highway noise prediction model, use of the predictive model recommended by the Ministry of communications of the people's Republic of China, and in 2009 environmental impact assessment technical guidelines for noise prediction model through the analysis of several modes of comparison and selection according to the environmental characteristics of urban road sections of three existing traffic noise prediction model study on the adaptability of. And put forward the models, traffic, traffic flow and other parameters of environmental standards and China's urban road in accordance with the practical situation, can be used as a single urban road traffic noise prediction model and a plurality of urban road traffic noise prediction model, and further puts forward the for urban road traffic noise prediction of different parameters value range.This paper in Changsha University of Science & Technology Yun Tang campus surrounding roads as the research object, through 2014 years field monitoring studies of different traffic noise prediction model in urban road different sections, traffic and distance under the condition of the prediction results, and of predicted results and actual measurement results in a comparative study, through different periods of different traffic noise prediction model of predictive value and the actual monitoring of traffic noise values were calculated. Through data analysis, to determine the suitability for city road traffic noise prediction model. The research for urban road traffic noise prediction model for different urban road traffic noise prediction, environmental impact assessment, noise pollution distribution is of important significance.But in this study, each monitoring point is empty, no slope, no overpass etc. composite sections, pending further study in the future composite sections.
