Concrete cutoff wall due to the reliable quality and strong durability, has become the main means of reservoir dam and all kinds of dangerous dyke anti-seepage reinforcement, and widely used in municipal and other foundation treatment fields. The slotting process of cutoff wall is the most key content in the seepage prevention project, which has a direct influence on the progress and cost of the project. Traditional common slot construction method, due to the huge construction equipment, requires high standard of wide working platform, complex supporting system and even need to harden the ground, laying track and other reasons, resulting in high cost of project. For the small reservoirs of site condition is difficult to match and low cut-off standard of low head buildings, temporary anti-seepage engineering, restricted by the site conditions and engineering cost, unable to adopt concrete anti-seepage wall and instead of the low standard of seepage prevention technique, often resulting in the poor impervious effect. The construction equipment of chain type underground diaphragm wall put into use development by Shandong Water Conservancy Science Research Institute, realized the miniaturization of equipment, greatly reduce the site requirements of equipment, expanding the application scope of concrete cutoff wall. But it found the shortcoming of low hydraulic power transmission efficiency, high cost of hydraulic motor and low overall efficiency.To solve the above problem, comprehensive considering the adaptability of equipment, efficiency, groove quality, to improve the power transmission mode and drilling slag removal of the existing chain type diaphragm underground wall. After a lot of experiment and demonstration, the construction of the site is verified, developing a new type of rotary cutting slotting device.The main research findings are as follows:(1)Developing the rotary cutting slotting device of flexible,less temporary facilities and can build concrete cutoff wall of 20 ~ 40 cm, depth of 25 m. Can be adapt to more various construction sites, building the high quality and low cost concrete cutoff wall.(2)Based on the technical characteristics of new rotary cutting slotting device, summarizing the whole set of construction process, putting forward the technical requirements of key process, and forming the internal operating procedures.(3)The groove forming method of rotary cutting slotting device has strong adaptability to the engineering of small engineering and narrow field.The seepage of the rotary cutting slot device has great significance to effectively solve the seepage of medium and small reservoirs and low head structures.
