Study On The Architecture Protection And Tourism Development Of Zhuang Village

LongJi Ancient Zhuang Village is a typical representation of Zhuang Nationality's traditional culture in Northern Guilin. The village well preserved the traditional historical culture and the ethnic culture of Zhuang Nationality. At present, the village holds the largest amount and the best preserved Stilt Style Architecture Groups in Guangxi Province. As an Intangible Cultural Heritage of the city, the Stilt Style Architecture in the Ancient Zhuang Village played a significant role in the economical and social development of the Village. On the basis of the data obtained from the literature review and the field-study, this paper conducted a relevant research about the tourism development of the Stilt Style Architecture heritage in Longji Ancient village. Aiming at exploring the history and the current situation of the Stilt Style Architecture of the ancient Zhuang village, analyzing the value of its tourism resources and summarizing the tourism developmental process of the ancient Zhuang village's heritage, this paper discussed the significance of the village's tourism development of the Architecture heritage and the problems existed in the developmental process, and provided some appropriate suggestions.This paper consists three parts:the introduction part, the body and the conclusion part.The introduction part introduced the following aspects including the research objects and the research significance, previous related studies as well as the research methodology adopted in the study and the research plan arrangement. The body part of the paper consists of three parts. The first part is the basic introduction of the Longji Ancient Zhuang Village, including the natural geographical environment, historical ethnic transitions and the development of the Village's society and economy. The special beauty of the stilt Style Architecture of the Ancient Zhuang Village could be revealed through the illustration of the historical situation, distribution layout and the constructive customs of the Architecture. The second part presented the current situation of the Village's Stilt Style Architecture tourism development including the tourism developmental process, significance of the development and the problems appeared in the process through a quantitive and qualitive analysis. The third part provided the appropriate and effective suggestions of the Village's Stilt Style Architecture tourism development from the perspectives of the local government, tourist companies, Villagers and the tourists. Meanwhile, the paper also introduced the successful experience of the heritage tourism development in Shan'xi's Pingyao Ancient city and Fujian's Yongding Tulou, hoping to give some enlightments for the tourism development of LongJi Ancient Zhuang Village.Longji Ancient Zhuang village should make good use of the Stilt Style Architecture resources, and follow the principle of "preservation and development at the same time". In addition, it should also preserve the actuality and integrity of the Architecture heritage, implementing and improving "the live" conservation mechanism and have the awareness of the innovation, increasing special tourism experiencing program, designing unique tourism souvenir so as to achieve the goal of helping the village become rich and strong through the tourism development.
