A Study On The Influence Of Attitudes Towards Agricultural Cultural Heritage Preservation Behaviors Of Longji Terraces Residents From The Perspective Of Place Attachment | Posted on:2024-09-05 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | Country:China | Candidate:S Y Wang | Full Text:PDF | GTID:2542307139989679 | Subject:Landscape architecture study | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | Globally important agricultural cultural heritage is a traditional agricultural system with important historical and humanistic values,an important reference for modern ecological agriculture,and a special agricultural landscape,the conservation of which is the common responsibility of all mankind.The conservation of agricultural cultural heritage requires dynamic conservation and adaptive management.Tourism is an effective means of agricultural cultural heritage conservation,and its conservation subjects are the residents of heritage sites.As pioneers and beneficiaries of agricultural cultural heritage,the attitude of residents’ agricultural cultural heritage conservation behavior is a prerequisite for the sustainable conservation of agricultural cultural heritage,and the emotional connection between residents and heritage sites is an important pivot for the conservation of heritage sites.This study introduces the theory of place attachment,uses the Longji Pingan Terraces as a case study,explores the formation mechanism of place attachment among residents of the Longji Terraces through qualitative research methods,and constructs a theoretical model of the perceived tourism impact of residents of the Longji Terraces-place attachment-residents’ attitudes towards agricultural cultural heritage conservation.The study is intended to provide recommendations for the conservation planning and management of the agricultural cultural heritage of the Longji Terraces from a multidisciplinary perspective.The questionnaire data showed that residents’ awareness of agricultural cultural heritage is low,with only half of the residents knowing that the Longji Terraces are a globally important agricultural cultural heritage project,but they have a good understanding of the history and farming practices of the Longji Terraces.Cultural heritage conservation.The results of the qualitative study show that the formation of local attachment among residents of Longji Terraces is mainly influenced by individual differences and social relationships,village environmental factors,cultural heritage awareness and tourism revenue factors.The results of the empirical study show that residents’ local attachment significantly and positively influences residents’ attitudes towards agricultural cultural heritage conservation and plays a completely mediating role in the perception of tourism impacts and conservation attitudes,and it can be said that the level of residents’ local attachment is an important factor and an important pivot in the conservation of the Longji terraced landscape.Secondly,residents’ attitudes towards agricultural cultural heritage conservation can significantly and positively influence residents’ agricultural cultural heritage conservation behavior.In summary,this study concludes that residents’ local attachment emotion is an important factor in the conservation of residents’ agricultural cultural heritage,and that the perception of tourism influence can enhance residents’ local attachment.It is proposed that the conservation of agricultural cultural heritage in the Longji terraces needs to strengthen agricultural cultural heritage publicity,enhance residents’ agricultural cultural heritage emotional identity,strengthen the construction of the software and hardware environment of the Longji terraces,improve residents’ level of local attachment,and improve the level of local attachment in terms of ecological conservation planning,traditional farming The study also proposes three aspects:ecological conservation planning,traditional farming culture conservation and agricultural landscape conservation;the establishment of a committee to protect the agricultural cultural heritage of the Longji terraces based on the traditional village system;the establishment of a multi-level tourism participation mechanism for the residents;and the enhancement of the residents’ sense of economic access to tourism.Finally,in the follow-up study,improvements will be made in terms of delineating the research subjects,conducting comparative studies and refining the tourism impact perception dimension. | Keywords/Search Tags: | Longji terraces, agricultural cultural heritage conservation, local attachment, tourism impact perception | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
