As the irradiation processing technology is widely used in industrial and agricultural production, its status in national economy of our country more and more important. In irradiation processing production, the quality of irradiation control directly show the control of the absorbed dose in irradiated products and absorbed dose variability; Irradiation of production efficiency, directly decided by the efficiency of activities, and source rods in the irradiation plant arrangement directly decided to source use efficiency. Therefore source rod is arranged in the irradiation plant scheme and irradiation dose field device space research has the vital significance.The research object is BFT-IV gamma irradiation plant is designed and produced by BINE High–tech co., LTD, through to learn and master the MCNP program, according to the design features and operation law of irradiation plant, geometric model is established, and based on the number and activity of source rod, design multiple source arrangement scheme, and use the model under different source rod arrangement scheme of space distribution of dose field simulation calculation, and the results according to choose the optimal source arrangement scheme. Then we to potassium dichromate silver dosimeter simetry performance was studied, and made a lot of potassium dichromate silver dosimeters, and the preparation of the dichromate of silver dosimeter results with the China institute of metrology measurement compares the results of calibration, the calibration results of deviation of-2%.Show that we are potassium dichromate dosimeter of silver dosimetry performance research and preparation was successful, the measurement result is reliable. Use the preparation of dosimeter for dose were measured, and the measured data and simulation data were analyzed, between the simulated calculated value and actual measured values, although there is a deviation, but the error within 15%, the highest absorbed dose rate and minimum absorbed dose rate basic coincidence in the region and an analog computation reflects the basic add source after the actual spatial distribution of dose field, the establishment of the geometric model is successful and has high credibility.In this paper, by using numerical simulation based on monte carlo method, optimized design scheme of source rod is arranged, effectively improves the utilization efficiency of radioactive source, reduce the nonuniformity of dose field. Test and verify the reliability of simulation calculation, and through the actual measurement results show that the geometric model is set up successfully, has high credibility, can use numerical simulation methods to guide the relevant scientific research experiments and irradiation production work. Adding the source work in the future, can be used the mathematical models of irradiation source arrangement scheme of optimization design and simulation calculation of dose distribution.
