At present, the AC servo system is becoming more and more mature, and its application in the automation of the mechanical industry is increasing. Permanent magnet synchronous motor servo system is becoming the mainstream of the servo system because of its advantages of small size, weight, efficiency and control accuracy. The digital PMSM position servo control system is widely applying to high accuracy and high performance occasion like CNC machine tools and industrial robot with its high performance control strategy and digital signal processing technique foundation. With the development of technology and increasing control requirement of the servo system, traditional PID control is unable to meet people's requirements. Combining advanced control strategy to PMSM servo system is meaningful to develop the system performance.This paper aims to propose Fuzzy iterative control strategy to solve position tracking control problem for PMSM with repetitive motion characteristics. On the basis of PMSM mathematical model and vector control theory, the three-loop control structure of current loop, speed loop and position loop is adopted, and the fuzzy iterative control strategy is added to the position loop to improve the control effect of the system. Iterative control strategy can follow given signal accurately, while adding Fuzzy control can solve the interference problem in iterative control strategy. Thus, Fuzzy iterative control strategy can combine their advantage to improve the stability of system and guarantee the high accuracy.In this paper, the structure of Fuzzy iterative control system is given, the validity of that is proved by simulation and experiment. Compared to classical control strategy, Fuzzy iterative control strategy improves the position tracking accuracy, and still maintain its accuracy in the case of adding load disturbance. The whole control system simulation model is built in Matlab/Simulink system and its feasibility is proved after simulation. An experimental platform for the digital control system of permanent magnet synchronous motor based on DSP is set up. The feasibility of the control strategy is verified on the experimental platform. By analyzed the experiment result, the Fuzzy iterative control strategy do improve the system control accuracy, and also enhance system anti-interference ability.
