| In order to improve the output torque of ultrasonic motor,while not increasing the volume of the motor too much,the traveling wave rotary ultrasonic motor with multiple stators was put forward in this paper.Firstly,this paper introduced the principle,development,history,classification,and application of the ultrasonic motor.Current situation of the development and the existing shortcomings of domestic and foreign high torque ultrasonic motor were introduced,in which the research content and significance of this paper were extracted.Secondly,simulation analysis of the stator of traveling wave rotary ultrasonic motor was presented,the stator’s series vibration characteristics were obtained,such as the stator’s vibration mode and resonance frequency,the relation between vibration amplitude,impedance and frequency,the ellipse trajectory formation process of a particle which belongs to the stator’s tip and the relation between input current of stator and time.The structure and operation mechanism of traveling wave rotary ultrasonic motor with multiple stators were introduced.Established the mathematical model which between the stator and rotor.With the finite element software ANSYS10.0 finite element contact model of a single set of stator and rotor and multiple sets of stator and rotor were established.Then a simulation analysis was carried out,and the contact model of mechanical characteristic curve was obtained.Thirdly,in order to further improve the output performance of the motor,using finite element software ANSYS and orthogonal design method,studied the rotor’s various parameters their influences on the contact area between the stator and the rotor.Then the rotor suitable for the ultrasonic motor was designed.On the basis of sensitivity analysis,optimization design of the rotor was carried out with the structure optimization analysis tool of ANSYS.After optimization,the modal frequency of rotor differentiates greatly from the working frequency of ultrasonic motor.Fourthly,In order to reduce the slip in radial direction of the traveling wave type ultrasonic motor(TRUM),the method of increasing the maximum of shear deformation of friction layer of rotor was put forward.Based on the principle of stick-slip of the contact area between stator and rotor in TRUM,the influence of the value of coefficient of friction and the value of poisson’s ratio of the friction layer material upon the slip in radical direction were discussed.Finally,the factors affecting the synchronous of traveling wave rotary ultrasonic motor withmultiple stators were analyzed.And the degree each factor influences on the synchronous was analyzed.Through simulation analysis intuitive got the influence of various factors on the motor’s speed.Thermal analysis for the motor’s stators and rotors was simulated by ANSYS software,with the synthetic consideration of the basic reasons for heat generation.The temperature distribution on stators and rotors was obtained when the motor was in stable operation.The temperature curves of critical positions of stators and rotors were also obtained. |
