In the process of electrical production,it is an important way to improve the efficiency of hydraulic unit that Improving the output operation of old units,which can improve the economic efficiency of the power plant itself at the same time.However,in some power plants,due to the feasible conditions and natural environment,the parameters and the operation mode are much conservative,which lead to the efficiency of the unit itself is not very well.The capacity expansion reforming of generator has much advantages,such as small investment,short period,quick effectiveness,save human and material resources,improve efficiency,increase capacity and so on.Specific to the hydropower station,there are more other superiority,not only improving the unit load and accident reserve ability,but also using the water resource sufficiently,so as to improving economic efficiency of hydropower station.The unit operation condition can approach the design instance by this way,which based on the operated generating units.At the same time,a great of active tests should be done before the unit is put into operation.From this point of view,the rehabilitating and enhancing of generator is safe.In this paper,argument the increase feasibility of maximumly retaining the original equipment,and try not to transforming the internal structure of the unit,through the analysis of rehabilitating and enhancing for one hydropower station in XinJiang.Also,show the safety of the equipment after reforming through the results of the field test.At last,set the relevant unit relay protective value.
