The Application Research On Automatic Deflection Detection Technology

Be of the advantages of high efficiency, convenient and accurate, the automatic deflectometer is widely used in the highway engineering. Although it has been incorporated into the testing procedures named "Field Test Methods of Subgrade and Pavement for Highway Engineering(JTG E60-2008)", the research about it is very poor. So we need a large of work further in-depth on it. At present, considerable number of researches on automatic deflectometer have been complicated, but there are still lots of aspects of the research gaps, which have affected the increase of deflection detection level.The research takes the laser automatic deflectometer of type JG-2005 as the object, on which a series of research work is carried out. Firstly, the article analysis the mechanical principle and structure of the automatic deflection meter in detail. And then, base on the characters of test data and the detection performance, we come to a conclusion about the distribution of the measured values of the automatic deflection meter under normal condition, And further summarized its application scope, which is meaningful to the application of the automatic deflectometer.The influence of different pavement conditions on the automatic deflection meter and the change of the automatic deflection meter is analyzed. The change of the test results of the automatic deflection meter and the correlation between the measured value of the automatic deflection meter and Beckman beam are determined by the large number of experiments on Different roughness, rutting and damage degree of asphalt pavement.Grey relational degree of correlation coefficient of pavement roughness, rut, pavement damage rate and automatic deflection meter to Beckman beam's correlation coefficient was analyzed by grey system theory..The conclusion that the correlation degree between pavement failure rate and correlation coefficient is the highest, and the applicable condition of the automatic deflection meter is obtained. The research is of certain engineering application value.
