This paper develops a vehicle control system(VCS) with high stability based on AUTOSAR. The development contains the analysis of functional requirements and design of hardware and software. To improve the modularity, scalability, transferability, re-usability and development efficiency of the VSC, this paper focuses on the optimization of the VCS hardware and software, which includes the following aspects.1. View the documents about AUTOSAR, analyze the functional requirements and design an efficient development process with V-model.2. Design the VCS hardware platform which could satisfy the functional requirements. The hardware with redundancy provides sufficient system resources for running complex algorithm and other software.3. Design the software of VCS, which includes the basic software(BSW), runtime environment(RTE) and application layer(APPL). By using the code generation tools, the development cycle of BSW is shorten. To improve the stability and real-time performance, the RTE is designed with queueing model and optical priority strategy. The system also has an advanced pedal control strategy in the application layer, which could enhance the vehicle dynamic performance.4. Test the stability of the VCS. Evaluate the modularity, scalability, transferability, re-usability and development efficiency of the VSC based on AUTOSAR.
