Wayfinding Systems Planning And Design Research In Wetland Park

Recently,the construction of wetland parks is developing rapidly with the rise of environmental awareness.As the fundamental service facilities,the wayfinding system plays an important role in making wetland parks functional.Thus,the wayfinding system has attracted more and more attention of the park builders and managers.The development of eco-tourism is gradually increased the public awareness of environmental protection,the public are eager to get more knowledge of nature in the recreational activities.The wayfinding system is the fundamental services facilities for tourists to get knowledge.Tt should have functions such as suguiding,commentary,reminding.It can assist visitors to visit the prk,enhance the visitors experience of the park,improve the operation and management mode,and promote the construction and development of the wetland park.But now there are currently few theoretical focus on the design of wayfinding system,and there are no corresponding construction standards and norms.The designs of wayfing system in wetland parks lack of systematic and normative;there is also little research on the regional feature of the wayfinding systems.In addition,the studies of application barrier-free signs in the park also show a slightly insufficient.All of these gaps lead to many problems in the designing and application of the wayfinding system.the outstanding problem is that the wayfinding system design is neither standard nor system designs lack of geographical and cultural characteristics,the content of the signage lack of logic and scientific and so on.So to build a wayfinding system has important theoretical and practical significance based on the essential characteristics of Wetland Park.This paper definitions the wayfinding system design theory,improves the design theory frame of the wayfinding system in wetland parks,analysis of elements?structure and function of the wayfinding system in wetlanparks,determine the role and design points of the wayfinding system in the special space environment of the wetland parks.It focuses on the planning and design process of wayfinding system in wetland parks.It includes wetland site investigation and analysis,the objectives and principles of wayfinding system planning and design and characteristics of the design.By conducting a fied servey in Xixi National Wetland Park in Hangzhou,to provide visitors with a questionnaire to understand the situation of the wayfinding system in the park.Finally,select the Beijing Changziying Wetland Park were wayfinding system design,prior to the satisfaction of basic services in advance,ensure the normal function of the Wetland Park Environmental Education,promote them management and development of the wetland parks.
