Recently, the aging problem in our country is getting worse, and the medical security system isn't perfect. Since many old people living alone lack the ability to take care of themselves, and the existing medical products can't meet the use requirements of the old, so the development of smart medical products for the elderly is promoted, smart thermometer is one of them. Comparing with the traditional thermometer, the smart thermometer has obvious advantages in data acquisition and data processing. It can dynamically measure and record body temperature of users. At the initial stage when body temperature changes, it can promptly detect the abnormal body temperature to remotely monitor users. Now, there are few smart thermometers tailored for the seniors in the market. Although temperature acquisition modes for different groups of people are similar, monitoring services are greatly different. Moreover, the existing smart thermometers can only achieve the interaction between mobile devices and temperature acquisition devices while they are unable to remotely monitor users. Thus, the paper will conduct research on smart thermometer system for the seniors, which is of significant practical value and application prospect.Based on the smart thermometer for the elders supported by We Chat public platform, the design in the paper includes four subsystems------body temperature acquisition device, mobile device, We Chat public platform and background server. They are connected by Bluetooth wireless communication and mobile network, which realize the transmission of data and information among subsystems. And then, tele-medicine comes true. The paper mainly make an analysis and illustration on the design of body temperature acquisition device and realization of We Chat public platform. Body temperature acquisition devices adopt embedded technique. According to design goals of the product system, it is divided into several modules such as data acquisition, data storage, liquid crystal display(LSD), Bluetooth transmission, etc. Contrasting the hardware performance index needed by subsystems, the design picks over its microprocessor, temperature sensor, memory chip and cell display. The body temperature acquisition devices use n RF51822 as its master control chip, comprehensively design and develop hardware circuit and drivers for each module, and achieve temperature measurement, data storage, interaction with We Chat public platform and other auxiliary functions.We Chat public platform decides whether the functions of the smart thermometer could be achieved. In place of the common smart thermometer APP, We Chat public platform is used as a medium for the interaction of the thermometer and users. For We Chat has a large number of users, it is easier for manufacturers to promote their devices. Also, it is convenient for users to use We Chat public platform as client, which improves user experience. Following the official development process of We Chat, the smart thermometer in the design apply for and verify the official account and call the interface of We Chat development center and configure the background server, through which such functions as the interaction between the official account and temperature acquisition device, remote diagnosis and remote alert become a reality.The smart thermometer designed in the paper can achieve prompt body temperature measurement, data storage, data transmission in real time, background remote diagnosis, remote health alert and other functions. It is helpful for the elders to timely and accurately know their psychological conditions. Also, it provides their children with more convenient monitoring means, which will guarantee their security in their daily life.
