With the rapid economic development in our country, a large number of irregular tall and super high-rise building appear.In order to meet the use of the function, it sets up well-hole lobby inside the building, or structural plan opens big hole.It will cause the space layout to form complex structures with wear layer column or big hole.In structure design, the emergence of these complex structures require engineer to pay special attention.Furthermore, the frequent earthquake in the last few years happens, seismic performance research is more and more deeply for complex building, in order to make it meet the requirement of "no collapsing with strong earthquake "for fortification against earthquake.In this paper, a Z-shaped frame-shear wall structure with wear layer column was research as an example, basing on the structure performance of seismic design method.1.In this page, using SATWE program and midas Building program, under slight earthquake, according to the vibration mode decomposition response spectrum method, elastic analysis and comparison of strcture was done.The analysis results ensure the structure to meet the reqirement of "no damage in small earthquake" for predetermined seismic aims.2.Under severe earthquake, The strcture become elastic-plastic damage.The PUSH&EPDA of PKPM and midas Building elastic-plastic analysis procedure was used in Push-over of the structure.It turned out that the structure meet the requirement of "no collapsing with strong earthquake" for predetermined seismic aims, and the fracture mechanism of member meet the standard requirement of "strong column and weak beam"3.In order to reflect the reality of the structure under seismic response, the PUSH&EPDA procedure was used in the structure’s dynamical and time-history analysis.It turned out that the selected three seismic waves are correct, the structure meet the requirement of "no collapsing with strong earthquake" for predetermined seismic aims.4.Under severe earthquake, the mechanical behavior of wear layer column was analysed.The results show that wear layer column has good seismic capacity, and wear layer column’s plastic hinge appeared later.
