With the rapid development of the city construction in our country, more andmore irregular large chassis architecture have been appeared in our city. In general, thistype of construction of the first, second and third layer have been designed to largerchassis, considering as a mall or hotel. This article analysis the irregular large chassissingle tower,such as the chassis for bigger space frame structure or frame shear wallstructure, the upper tower used for residential use. Large chassis single tower buildingis the vertical stiffness of irregular structure. That the location of the sudden change ofthe vertical of large chassis and upper structure between the towers leads to the verticalstiffness mutation, and in this time the structural mass center and just heart discreteincrease result in the reverse effect, so it become weak link in the seismic design, andthe building seismic performance is relatively poor. How to ensure that this type ofbuilding in the coming earthquake is still to used safety of the structure, it has becomethe key to designing personnel for seismic design.The article shows the wide application and rapid development of seismicisolation technology complex irregular large chassis single tower structure and thetorsion when the earthquake damages and its research status. Through more theoreticalanalysis, the fundamental analysis out of the layer separation technology and theworking principle of the base isolation technology and mechanical model areestablished, and two kinds of isolation were deduced form the dynamic balanceequation of the theory of condition. For plane irregular large chassis single tower andthe analysis of seismic isolation, bearing gap between layer and base isolationbearing,are used in this kind of structure, respectively. The article sets up baseisolation layer, interval isolation layer and the traditional anti-seismic structure model,then using the finite element software SAP2000to analysis this single tower structureunder severe earthquake dynamic time history analysis. Through the floor acceleration,interlayer displacement between layers, floor shear, torsional displacement ratio,torsion Angle and flat torsional period ratio and torque isolation device shows that thestructure of the damping effect is obvious, at the same time shows that the structuralplane caused by irregular torsion effect,which should be attached to great importanceand then from the Angle of cost increase and decrease and the earthquake lossanalysisof base-isolated structure economy.Through finite element software SAP2000models: That layer spacing structure, base isolation structure in the corresponding position setting the isolation bearings hasa great enhancement about two buildings natural vibration period of earthquakeisolation than traditional anti-seismic structure natural vibration period, podium andthe dynamic response of the upper tower are reduce much more, especially to reducethe torsion structure. Last chapter simply explains two kinds of structure to increase indirect construction cost, repair, and reduce the cost of the loss. And then comparedwith earthquake resistant structure, we finds that the fine results have been achieved ineconomic effect.
