Study Of Land Art And Contemporary Landscape Design

The minimalism,concept art,performance art,pop art and land art in modern art is directly or indirectly affects the industrial design and environmental art design.Among them,the influence of land art is the most direct,prominent and representative.It is easy for people to see land art as natural landscape.In a sense,land art can be seen as natural landscape,because it is like the continuation and reproduction of natural landscape.However,there's a substantial difference between land art and natural landscape.That is,natural landscape is the work of nature,while the land art works are created by people.Natural landscape is one of the most objective arts,while land art is the most subjective ones.Because of increasingly diversified social development,land art cannot be used as the common design language of landscape and garden,but it has formed some art system and merged into the landscape design consciousness.And the consciousness is used as innovating force to explore new design language.The ideology and formal language of land art provide abundant ideas for contemporary landscape design,change people's concept of traditional landscape design,force people to reevaluate the relationship between human and environment,and has a more and more important influence on contemporary landscape design of our country.This thesis first introduces its research background and significance.Second,the thesis elaborates the theoretical basis of land art.Then the thesis mainly discusses the concept design of landscape area in experience center.The last part is conclusion.
