In order to meet the requirements of the quality of the power grid,Electric energy production process is controlled by the power system,then the user could obtain the amplitude,phase and frequency stability of the electric power system.Due to the characteristics of electric energy,it is necessary to carry out the production and utilize of electric energy at the same time.Otherwise,there will be a deviation of the voltage frequency,which will affect the stable operation of the generator even cause the power grid stepout,so it is very important to maintain voltage stability.The constant voltage of the power grid is determined by power system.The hydrulic turbine and speed control system as the core equipment of the power system undertakes controlling the speed of the turbine,which process the important position in the power system.for the sake of understanding the operating characteristics and monitoring of the power system,a great deal of power experiments and new theory need to be verified in the actual power system.Out of safety and reliability consideration of power system,these experiments and the new theory will be limited by many factors in practical power system,Even could not be realized.Power system simulation reflects the operating characteristics of the power system,and the operating characteristics of the hydraulic turbine generator set has a great influence on the static characteristics and the transition process of the power system.The simulation of hydrulic turbine and speed govering system is an important part in the dynamic simulation of power system,which provides an efficient platform for the development of power system.In this paper introduces the structural model of the power system at first,the operational principle of the hydraulic turbine and speed govering system and the characteristics of the components of the system,and the mathematical model of the system is Established.Because of many types of hydraulic turbine governor,so there Are many mathematical models of the hydraulic turbine,and the two systems areselected for modeling and simulation in this thesis.The main contents of this paper are as following:(1)Based on the different structure of the speed governor of Hydrulic turbine and speed govering system establish mathematical modeling.(2)Utilizing MATLAB software simulates the two kinds of mathematical model of the system Off-line,also using the method of inertia compensation to optimize the system performance,in order to make a higher degree of similarity between the simulation system and the real system.(3)Two kinds of simulation systems are built in this paper,and the mathematical model of the hydraulic turbine and speed govering System is simulated by using one of the platforms.a new method based on speed and torque linearization is proposed in the simulation of mechanical characteristics of hydraulic turbine.the application of programs and hardware is greatly simplified.
