In recent years,with the growth of the national economy,traffic volume and traffic loads increase year by year,causing pavement distress occurs in the early completion of asphalt pavement in our country.According to the survey results,the most serious form of damage is the high temperature rutting damage,80% of the highway maintenance and repair costs is used to handle rut in the world.What is worse,rut not only affect the performance of asphalt pavement?shorten its life?repair and maintenance cycles,increase repair and maintenance costs,reduce the operational efficiency,it is also a big threat to the safety of the drivers.Therefore,how to reduce the asphalt pavement distress?extend the life of the road?improve the road performance and reduce the maintenance costs,we put forward higher requirements to the adhesive material of the asphalt pavement.The SHRP research shows that the asphalt binder provides 40% of rutting resistance,therefore,study on the performance of asphalt material helps us find ways to improve asphalt technology measures to the resistance to disease,which made the use of high viscoelastic asphalt binder asphalt pavement technical measures for high-temperature performance and become the main direction of development at home and abroad.Based on previous studies,commercially available binder A,B and C as the basic material in this paper,by adding high viscoelastic polymer particles prepares corresponding three kinds of high-viscosity asphalt relatively(1# ? 2# and 3# high-viscosity asphalt),there are six kinds of asphalt binder.Through use the SHRP dynamic shear rheometer,conduct a series of experiments on this six kinds of asphalt binder and the remains of the RTFOT test and the PAV test,measuring the phase angle? complex shear modulus? rutting factor and so on.At the same time,conducts a series of experiments in order to test the three indicators?penetration index ?rotational viscosity and research on the relationship between temperature and performance indicators of each material,and finally evaluate the high temperature viscoelastic properties of asphalt binder.Experiments show the penetration of the these high viscoelastic asphalt reduces,and the penetration index?softening point?ductility? elastic recovery?viscosity and the dynamic shear rheological properties increase,after aging the high temperature performance of these six kinds of asphalt binder also improve.Through the establishment between the anti-rut-factor(y)and temperature(x)of the six kinds of asphalt binder,calculates the critical temperature when the rut factor is 1kPa,and the results shows that the critical temperature of the 2# high viscoelastic asphalt is the highest,thus explain its high temperature stability is the best.Then put the1# high viscoelastic asphalt as example and conduct regression analysis between the rut factor and temperature,find the regression equation and definite the regression coefficients,and the result shows a good correlation between anti-rutting factor and temperature.Through research in order to provide technical guidance for the selection of the actual project binder material.
