Historical Perspective Of Building Cultural And Creative Reuse Studies

With economic growth in Northeast China,urban construction has also set off an unprecedented boom.During this dramatic change,people have found that old buildings and old districts with historical sense and imprint of the past age are just disappearing gradually,but at the same time,people have realized their importance to the overall development of the city,their positive impact to the urbanites in field like society,economy and culture,in addition,they are Indispensable to the urban impression as the Witness of to the city modernization.Even though the Northeast start and explore late in re-using of historic buildings,and with not that much research achievement,but with the rapid progress of urbanization,the research about re-using of historic buildings from perspective of culture and creativity has become an indispensable theoretical study to be guidance to promoting works about historical buildings in Changchun.Due to the fertile land and the particular historical process that Changchun have going through,there are unique urban culture and urban style that have been inherited.Based on the current status of the existing historical building in the central area of Changchun,the research use the advanced culture and creativity theory of Britain,the United States,Japan and other cities,as well as the successful examples about of culture and creativity theory of Taiwan,trying to propose the outline and framework of this research and final come up with the enforceable and sustainable theory and strategy of the historical buildings by both analyzing the successful cases and combing with the current difficult situation and the requirements of Changchun.Combining the depth analysis and theory summary of the cultural and creative industries with the characters of the existing historical buildings,this paper figure out the problems and challenges that Changchun may meet in re-using of historic buildings from perspectives like design methods,management tools,management methods,and come up with the idea of taking the historical buildings as the innovative products,trying to fusing the essence of the cultural and creative industry to the re-use of historic buildings in Changchun,thus to solve the management problems,implementation problems,and financial problems that the re-using work may face during the implementation specifically.Additionally,this research has provide basic principles of designing in cultural and creative works to avoid the errors in principle during the historical building protection work,thus to maximize the historical value,cultural value and scientific value of the historical buildings in Changchun.
