Rotary vane actuator is a kind of cylinder which has simple structure,can directly provide reciprocating oscillation motion,lubrication and friction are the major technical problems to be solved.Lubrication by hydrodynamic lubrication Reynolds equation calculated sealing surface film thickness distribution assessment;friction can be assessed by the friction test machine experiments by selected key factors.Based on the results obtained in the above analysis to rotary vane actuator performance evaluation and improvement provide some ideas.This paper studies the vane sealing surface lubrication and friction of rotary vane actuator.By elastic theory of generalized Hooke's law to establish contact pressure mathematical model of rectangular cross-section vane seal with the rotary vane actuator wall to obtain the pressure distribution in the contact surface,in the case of a known pressure distribution using EHL Problem of famous Reynolds equation under stable,line contact,smooth surface conditions solve oil film thickness distribution of the sealing surface,combined with the film thickness and real running status of rotary vane actuator,judging rotary vane actuator of vane seal surfaces lubrication condition during startup and steady operation phase.By determining the state of lubrication,to expand the friction behavior experimental study of sealing surface,select the contact pressure and speed as two key factors and set the experimental state as lubrication conditions,consider the friction surface material changes in factors,analysis various phenomenon occurring in experiment.And provide constructive advice on performance evaluation and optimization design of the vane seal according to various phenomena occurring in friction experiments...
