Hydropower construction in China has been developing rapidly in recent years, along with the three gorges, Longtan, represented by a large number of natural arch hydropower station have been put into operation, hydroelectric power station production management personnel, especially experienced operation management talent shortage problem has become increasingly serious. Hydropower station real time simulation training system simulation hydropower station equipment and secondary equipment, through the hydropower station in different conditions such as normal, abnormal and failure of running status, training students' coping ability. Through the system training, not only can make the hydropower station of the new recruits quickly master the basic operation knowledge, fault deduction, but also can exercise production personnel accident response capacity, accelerate the pace of growth.Based on the simulation project of Longtan hydropower station, this paper introduces a graphical technique in power system simulation software, the application of combining theory with engineering practice, draw lessons from the past overall design scheme of the graphic platform, designs the platform of graphical modeling and graphical modeling of longtan hydropower station on relay protection system are simulated.This article first define the object-oriented modeling, determine the overall structure of the system, then the principles and contents of the development of simulation system for hydropower station has carried on the detailed instructions, on this basis, respectively from the technical agreement, data management, equipment modeling, variable definitions, function structures, several aspects, such as, the relay protection simulation system development of hydropower station is studied. Followed by graphical modeling on a working NARI to Nr electric limited optical differential protection device model, combined with electrical system test validation, proved that the simulation system can be better to complete the simulation object function simulation, has strong practicality and generality.Finally systematically sums up the problems in the development process of relay protection simulation system and processing experience, upgrade for the longtan hydropower station simulation system and the development of other hydropower station simulation system for reference.
