Prefabricated frame-damping wall structure is a new architecture proposed in recent years. To study the seismic performance and mechanism of it, experimental research and finite element simulation were took on this sructure, the main contents and conclusions are as follows:(1) By the low cyclic reversed loading tests on five specimens of precast frame including prefabricated damping wall-frame,bare frame,and conventional wall-frame,the comparative studies were conducted to effects of different wall on seismic behavior of frame. Studies have shown that: the hysteretic curves of damping wall specimens is full and no pinching phenomenon. The mechanism of damping wall is clear and feasible, it reduced the binding effect to the frame and was involved in the energy dissipation, it also reduced and delayed the destruction of the frame, the wall was almost no damage in addition to structural defects. Conventional wall specimens also appeared relative slip between the wall in the test, but there was insufficient slip space, the column base occured shear failure, the end corner of wall was severely damaged. Different damping layer has a smaller effect on the seismic performance after slipping. The flatness of the contact surface between assembly-type damping wall and the mortar was not smooth enough,which made the end corner of wall is cracking before slipping and severely damaged at last.(2) Finite element analysis was took on prefabricated frame-damping wall structure, finite element simulation and experimental results were in good agreement. With the increase in the coefficient of friction damping layer, fabricated frame seismic performance damping wall structure has increased little; when using different thickness of damping wall, with the wall thickness increases fabricated frame damping wall structure seismic performance has improved; there is certain to improve the seismic performance when using double wall tie bar and structural steel; when using different materials as damping wall panels, along with material strength enhance the seismic performance fabricated frame damping wall structure improve significantly.
