In recent years, port construction has entered a new period of rapid development, and a large area of the land reclamation projects become more and more. Because each port of reclaimed soil engineering properties vary greatly and the study is not systematic and perfect, foundation treatment methods of reclaimed soil has become a serious problem in the new port construction. If the selection of foundation treatment method is improper, It may cause the engineering rework, waste of manpower and financial resources, delay time, heavy then lead to security incidents and pose a threat to people’s lives. Therefore, Study on engineering properties、foundation treatment method and technology become scholars、engineering and technical personnel issues. Combined with a reclaimed soil foundation treatment engineering with vacuum preloading and on the basis of previous studies, the vacuum preloading treatment process and the effect of unconsolidated reclaimed soil will be researched with laboratory tests, in-situ tests, field tests and numerical calculation software. The main research contents include the following aspects:1.By particle size analysis、X ray diffraction test、 in-situ tests and laboratory tests, the soil particle composition, mineral composition, mechanical properties and permeability and consolidation characteristics is are studied in detail in Tianjin port of a reclaimed soil reinforcement engineering.2.In the process of ground treatment, the changes of vacuum degree, pore water pressure, settlement, horizontal displacement and ground water level are analyzed by using the field measurement instrument and the vacuum preloading process tracking and monitoring.3.Using the stress-strain hyperbolic relationship and the e-p curve, the final settlement calculation formula of unconsolidated reclaimed soil are derived and compared with the measured data. The results show that the two methods are consistent, which are not the considering the lateral deformation and considering the lateral deformation methods.4. Using the numerical calculation software, the consistency of the measured data and the calculated results are compared which is combined with the actual construction of a simple analysis of the reasons for their existence deviation.
