Achievements in systematic ecology design idea and build way of water body, water environment and water scenery are less at present, and study depth is insufficient. In the view of theoretical basis, design for water environment is still at the stage of landscape effect first. Some scholars already involved ecological ideas into their designs, but comprehensiveness, systematization and study depth is not enough; it is unspecific to whom which is the basis, ecological ideas or landscape effects. There is no big scale systematic practice for the former, and the latter lacks of systematic theoretical discussion and deposit. In some cities, water body design methods for some communities and city parks are tried in different thinking ways and ideas, though effects emerged well, no systematic experiences were collected.This paper will analyses design method of water scenery, ecological idea and recovering way of natural environment through survey and study of original conditions of water body, analysis of design method, systematic collection of built effects in Haihe Education Park. Including e.g. water's headwaters, compared quality of current water with original water, water scenery format, ecological recovering way, use of aquatic life and build way. Through collecting and analysis on plan idea, thinking way of landscape, ecological method in water body design and recovering way of natural environment of Haihe Education Park, discussed how to build sustaining development, ecological environment and beautiful water landscape by a basis of ecology, nature, and environment protection ecological theory.Through surveying design and implementation of landscape water bodies' ecolo gy of Haihe Education Park, ecology design of landscape water bodies should follow the principle of obeying ecological rules, respecting nature, with water as the soul, d efined layers, focusing on the scale to highlight the big atmosphere, concerning both of flood prevention and flood/rainwater collection and recycling, insisting restoring e cological communities, cleaning waters by ecology itself, sustainable development, pe ople-oriented direction, then realize ecological development of landscape water bodie s through wise design and scientific and strict implementation.
