With the growing size of the earth-rock dam engineering, the traffic network of earthmoving construction area becomes complex, which has a great impact on the earthmoving. It is hard to allocate the earth-rock on time because of the traffic problems in the construction area, leading to serious delay of construction plan consequently. Therefore, it is particularly important to consider traffic properties for optimization of earthmoving.In this dissertation, based on considering traffic properties, to deal with the earthmoving optimization problem, we build earthmoving optimization model and simulation system. Then, we explore efficient solutions in order to solve the optimization model. The main contributions of the dissertation are summarized as follows:First, considering the impact of the traffic properties, we propose the earthmoving balance planning optimization model with combination of the path optimization. Firstly, the expression and storage of earthmoving traffic network is formulated. Then, the optimization model is built, which combines balance planning of earthmoving with path optimization. The quantities and path selection are decision variable of the optimization model. The least total cost is the goal of the optimization model. For selecting paths, we design suitable method to calculate road travel time. We use the iteration solution to solve the optimization model. At last, an example is presented to prove the necessary and the feasible of the study.Second, considering the randomness of the earthmoving transportation system, we build the simulation system based on TransModeler. By analyzing the feature of the earthmoving transportation process, we build the simulation model of the earthmoving transportation. We perform secondary development on TransModeler to implement the earthmoving transportation simulation system with the kernel as the simulation controller. The simulation experiment suggests that our simulation system has reliable performance.Finally, we propose the deployment of construction equipment optimization scheme based on the earthmoving transportation simulation system. On top of the earthmoving traffic network, we build the multi-task scheduling optimization model for the deployment of construction equipment. By exploiting the simulation controller, we adopt the Particle Swarm Optimization for optimization and simulation system for productivity computation, and finally implement the solution for online simulation optimization method. The optimization results demonstrate the effectiveness of our optimization strategy and the necessity of considering social vehicles in traffic network.
