In recent years,with the continuous increase of expressway mileages in China,the freeway network has gradually extended to mountainous areas,expressway tunnel traffic safety problems in mountainous areas have become more and more prominent.As a half closed space,expressway tunnel is limited in its light and line of sight.These not only easily leads to serious traffic accidents,but also brings great difficulties to the accident rescue.At the same time,expressway tunnel in mountain area is often affected by strong winds,fog,rain,snow and other factors,and these factors easily lead to traffic accidents.What’s more,landslides,collapses,debris flow and other geological disasters in mountainous area is very common,these also bring more hidden dangers to the mountain expressway tunnel operation safety.So,it is very necessary to carry out the mountain expressway tunnel operation safety evaluation research and to establish a scientific,reasonable and controlled mountain expressway tunnel operation safety evaluation index system and model.Firstly,based on the characteristics of expressway in mountainous area and mountain expressway tunnel,the mountain expressway tunnel traffic accident distribution characteristics were analyzed from time distribution,spatial distribution,shape distribution and other distribution.Secondly,according to the distribution characteristics of mountain expressway tunnel traffic accidents,all kinds of factors that significantly affect the mountain expressway tunnel operation safety from driver characteristics,vehicle performance,operating environment,mechanical and electrical systems,traffic safety facilities were made a detailed analysis.Then,in the review of the current situation of safety evaluation methods and index system weighting methods,the mountain expressway tunnel operation safety evaluation index system was set up based on the analytic hierarchy process(AHP method and Delphi method),and an operation safety evaluation model of expressway tunnel in mountain area was established based on the theory of fuzzy mathematics.Thereinto,the classification standard for expressway tunnel operational safety in mountainous areas was provided according to the expert consultation table of the feedback information of the mountain expressway tunnel operation safety evaluation index weight and the order relation analysis method(G1 method)to determine the index weight.Finally,the mountain expressway tunnel operation safety evaluation model wasapplied in Jinyun mountain tunnel of Chengdu-Chongqing expressway,the scientific applicability and applicability of the model were verified.The mountain expressway tunnel operation safety is the research object in this study.The mountain expressway tunnel operation safety evaluation index system and evaluation model were set up based on the mountain expressway tunnel traffic accident characteristics and the operation safety influence factors.The research results in this study will have certain theoretical significance and guiding role in the operation safety management of the mountain expressway tunnel in China.
