Study On BRT Line No.1 Service Level Evaluation In Yinchuan

Urban public transport system is one of the Infrastructure projects of urban construction;it is an important measure to solve the urban traffic problems.Along with the acceleration of urbanization,urban road traffic pressure and traffic congestion is increasing.In order to solve the problem of urban traffic is no delay.BRT,which was built on the ordinary public transport,is larger,faster and more convenient and more punctual.With its shorter construction period and less investment,BRT has become an important measure to improve our urban public transport.In order to grasp the overall service levels of the rapid transit,and to further improve the urban public transport system,it is necessary to make a research to evaluate the level of rapid transit service.The paper firstly summarizes the development status of BRT at home and abroad,introduces the definition,the system configuration and the applicability of BRT.Secondly,BRT is a integrated public transport system that multi-subject,wide and multi-index,so it is one-sided to establish evaluation indicators from a certain subject only,therefore this article has three objects that service(passenger),the service provider and the service supervisor with the principles of targeted,scientific,objective and comprehensive,the author get 11 aspects from 17 indicators that safety,quickness,convenience,operating income,bus priority,then established a system of 13 indicators from the six aspects such as Safety,fast,punctuality,convenience and so on.And then the author use AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process)to conduct the Index System division.Thirdly,this paper through the research of several evaluation methods,finally selected grey clustering analysis to evaluate the service level of BRT,introduces the current situation of BRT in Yinchuan,analysis the suitability and necessity of the development of BRT in Yinchuan.By using the gray clustering analysis,the author finds out the problems of BRT 1-line in Yinchuan and put forward the corresponding proposals and measures which will play a guiding role in establishing the urban public transport system.The results of this study can provide practical experience for similar BRT evaluation of Yinchuan,it can also provide a reference for the enactment of management system and performance appraisal for public transport management department.
