Hohhot City and Helingeer County of Inner Mongo lia Autonomous Region are located in the trans ition zone of Inner Mongo lia plateau to loess plateau. The terrain features of this area are more d istinct, which are known as "mounds, hills and plains". There is a terrain and landform of gully, which is widely distributed in the area of Helingeer County. This kind of landform, morphology and space form is very special. So far there is no design strategy and discussion on the gully terrain and the existing gully terrain is transformed by means of mining, filling, shoveling out and slope protection. Although these methods can meet the construction requirements and reduce the impact of geological disasters, so far it has not been able to find a reasonable solution and strategy to make use of and to play its unique characteristics of the topography and space features.The starting point of the design strategy is to “take from nature and blend in nature” as a design concept, and the design concept is the rational use of characteristics of existing objects to reflect the towering feeling and volume sense of new things or buildings. It makes the boundary of new things and the construction weakening and fuzzy so as to cause people to minimize the sense of the existence of new things and build ings, as well as emphasize the “integration” of new things and build ings in the environment and it is commonly used to make the newly-built things and the volume and materials of build ings to be fused. Volume sense can be taken in combination with the terrain, inking, combined with the ecological environment and materials of the terrain and the surface, so that it can achieve to use the integration of terrain and surface treatment method to eliminate the volume sense and existence sense of new things and buildings. In addition, the development of existing build ing technology and construction theory makes the ground can be regarded as one or more flexible materials, which can be arbitrarily changed; it can be opened, twisted, folded, raised and even reconstructed so as to achieve the concept of taking from nature and blend in nature. It makes good use of the landform and space form of gully and it is a perfect fusion of the characteristics of the gully landform.This paper takes Shengle Baiting Park of Helingeer County as the practice object and Shengle Baiting Park is located in the hills of Nanbaobei river of Chengguan Town in Helingeer County, which is known as "China's largest pavilion landscape culture garden”. There are green mountains surrounded by gullies. It is a great place created by nature with elegant environment and convenient transportation and it is a resort which sets tourism, leisure and entertainment as a whole in central Inner Mongo lia. There are two problems in practice: First ly, the surrounding environmental infrastructure and service facilities are not perfect. Secondly, gully landform causes the geological disaster to the park's vegetation and erosion of soil and water, so the gully landform is the biggest threat to the park's vegetation and plants. Therefore, it urgently needs to carry out a reasonable design transformation. In view of the Baiting park's existing deficiency of the service function and the intrus ion of geological hazards, this paper hopes through "from the nature, blend in nature" design concept, both to protect the existing environment landscape system and experience the local folk living environment, but also provide experience with local characteristics of life style, recreational activities and experience activities. At the same time, it seeks for a solution for the hilly gully terrain of Helingeer County to adapt to the natural environment.
