| With the widely application of the steel structure in engineering, corrosion has become an inevitable problem. FRP reinforcement technique is very popular in the engineering structure reinforcing repair because of its unique advantages. From the numerous engineering application, FRP reinforce volumetric corrosive steel structure, the usual way is that paste the defective surface directly; if not or inconvenience to paste on defect, paste the non-defective directly correspond to the defective surface. Therefore, the reinforcement effect pasting the defective surface and the non-defective surface is consistent remains to be seen.This paper took the study of the static tensile test on the widely and small area volumetric corrosive steel plate. And discussed that the influence on bearing capacity of the relative position of CFRP with defect and the defect area, depth, shape; analyzed the stress state near the defect under the effect of various factors; comprehensive analyzed the failure process and failure characteristics of CFRP and steel plate. Last the influence law was obtained on the relative position and the defect area, depth, shape to the reinforcement effect.When discussing the influence law on bearing capacity of the relative position of CFRP with defect, the conclusion was obtained:neither CFRP reinforced with the widely nor the small area volumetric corrosive defective specimen, the front reinforced effect was better than back-reinforced one. Therefore, in the practical engineering application, should use the front reinforcement as far as possible, if the front reinforcement can not be achieved, the back-reinforcement also can be considered.The influence of reinforcement was been effect by the defect area and depth. The larger the defect area, the more moderate stress concentration degree, and the effect of the front reinforcement and the back-reinforcement were more obvious; the deeper the defect depth was, the more the stress concentration in the main stress area was reduced, and the effect of the front reinforcement and the back-reinforcement were more obvious.For containing a small area of corrosion defective specimen, although the shape of the corrosion defect was more subtle change, but from the results obtained of the test that the bearing capacity of specimen was associated with defect shape. And the greater the effective cross-sectional area, the lower the defect stress level, the bearing capacity of the specimen was higher. |
