Urban infrastructure constructions present some new features such as high-tech, high efficiency, low energy consumption and low pollution as economy developing. As an important part of urban infrastructure, urban heating system is required to be featured by intensivism, intelligence and environmental protection. As the main heating mode in Northern China, centralized heating is less polluting, less heat losing and more energy-intensive than discentralized heating mode.Manual patrol and automatic monitoring are the two kinds of operation models of centralized heat-supply system. As the major model adopted in nowadays, manual patrol is characteristic as great work, low efficiency and the outdated on-site adjustment. So it is difficult to monitor the operating of the network. On the contrary, partial hydraulic disorder is often happened, and the heating quality is hard to be guaranteed. According to design claims of the certain thermoelectric company's remote monitoring system of urban centralized heat-supply network, we study on the struction design the function implemetation of system. The main work includes:(1) Based on the national energy efficiency policies, the paper introduced the composition, present situation and the control means of urban centralized heat-supply network fistly. Then the paper analyzed the existing problems of the system and proposed some solutions to resolve the problems. Also, the paper demonstrated the necessity of the implementation and design of remote monitoring system.(2) According to the overall design of urban centralized heat-supply network, after introducing the system composition and the structure and technology of heating stationsm, the paper proposed the design principles of heating stations' monitoring system, topological structure of control center and whole framework. Finally, some normal control strategies of heating stations are presented, such as Fuzzy-PID control.(3) Adopting the theory of “remote given+local control”, the paper designed the functions of heating stations' monitoring system. Also, some control strategies, such as the climate model, are used to regulating parameters of electronic valves and supply pumps with the functions of data acquisition and communication etc. Using Xsys system software platform and Siemens S7-1200 main controller, heating stations' monitoring system are realized. The realization method for accessing to control center of original system is discussed.(4) Taking a certain thermoelectric company as example, the paper briefly introduces the real operation situation of the monitoring system of urban centralized heat-supply network. The operation results show that the system is running very well in practical application. The safe, stable and energy-saving operation and heating demand for citizens are ensured.
