| Chain transmission is widely used in a variety of mechanical transmission system such as transport,mining,metallurgy,military and some other mechanical transmission system,because of reliable economics and good transmission performance.But due to the characteristics of low speed and heavy loading,traditional chain with loose edge already can’t satisfy the actual requirements of project.Polygon effect of chain drives cause periodic fluctuation of the chain,which make the chain movement impact.Through theoretical analysis and model simulation method,it has analyzed the factors which effect the stability of chain operation and the force of the chain.Using slide constrained chain,it significantly increases the reliability and stability of conveyor chain movement,and effectively improves the bearing capacity of the transportation mechanism.The specific research as follows:(1)Establish three-dimensional model:In the specified size constraints,it establishes a three-dimensional model of chain transmission mechanism under the situation of low speed and heavy loading which is U-shaped two-way driven chain transmission mechanism.The new type chain transmission mechanism uses the pin shaft as the main bearing parts and u-shaped rail as constraints parts.it achieves the purpose to reduce the chain polygon effect.(2)Three-dimensional model motion simulation:In the Motion Study module of Solidworks software,three-dimensional model is carried on the movement simulation.The stability of chain movement is different in no track constraints,track constraints,and U-shaped trajectory compensation locus constraints cases.In the U-shaped trajectory compensation locus constraints case,chain polygon effect is significantly reduced.(3)Extreme position analysis:it analyses the impact of the gravity under the extreme position.The position which the chain carries a different number of load and the chain moves to different positions may make different results.According to the analysis of the pin shaft stress and the driving moment features,it gets the location where the maximum driving moment appears and the size of the reaction.(4)Dynamics analysis:It analyze the force conditions of the chain when the chain constant move in the U-shaped trajectory compensation locus constraints case.It mainly aimed at the stress larger pin and gives chain calculation formula of elastic edge.The biggest stress are obtained.(5)Strength check and select suitable material:By using ANSYS software,it checks the strength of key parts of the U-shaped trajectory constraint chain transmission mechanism.According to the strength,it selects suitable material to meet the safety and economy at the same time,and makes the chain components meet the requirements of carrying heavy load. |
