Abstract/Summary:
With the increasing of demand for energy, the power supply is increasing. We encourage storing power in the trough and making more detail for the price of power using at peak and trough for easing too much power using at the peak,To satisfy the principle of saving and developing. At the same time, the storing method and technology is developing.Cooling store is one of the most famous saving technologies which using in architecture air-conditioning system.Water cooling store technology is widely using because of costing less, easy system and easy to maintain. The study introduced the background of the cooling storage technology based on the global study and developing status of cooling storage system and principle of cooling storage system. The study research the key equipment, storage tank, combined the application of cooling storage technology in engineering project. When analyze the evaluation standard we made the volume of the thermocline to be the key factor to determine the cooling efficiency in the fixed volume.Analyzed the root cause of what influence the layered effect and cooling efficiency in the tank, and focus on the height diameter ratio to analyze.Nowadays the storage tank occupied less and less area, but higher and higher. The study focus on this feature, simulate and analysis the process for different height diameter ratio of a storage tank by CFD(FLUNET software). And get the temperature distribution for thermocline of every working condition. Then compare the volume of the thermocline.Based on the relation between volume of thermocline and cooling efficiency to find the higher cooling efficiency and the better storage tank in the fixed volume.I hope the result can be referred for increase the utilization of cooling storage.
