Automobile Design Based On Lightweight Technology

With the increasing of vehicle ownership and serious environmental pollution,automobile design is no longer just focus on appearance of beautiful, but also need to consider the safety performance as well as the environmental hazards. Therefore automobile lightweight design has become one of the most important components. Through lightweight technology can not only achieve the reduction of carbon emissions, at the same time also can reduce the pollution of environment. Basing on the concept automobile design as a research object, from the perspective of car designing and analyzing, this article combine lightweight structure and lightweight materials and other technical measures together, enabling the vehicle to meet the aesthetic needs and achieving lightweight.Firstly this paper use the automobile modeling development process description as the research background, then list the advantages and disadvantages of different kinds of lightweight technology, and also make further exploration discussion of lightweight technology. After doing the research of lightweight technology from home and abroad, the automobile design change aesthetic features into lightweight technology. Based on the concept of a lightweight design technology the vehicle can not only meet the premise of safety,at the same time also can guarantee the characteristics of energy saving and emission reduction, so as to create a good living environment.
